Terrible games from Bouchard and Skinner. Also, Henrique and to a lesser extent J Skinner can’t keep up when the games get intense. I’d like an upgrade on the third line.

Laughable to blame Skinner for that when Ekholm and Bouchard embarrassed themselves repeatedly the whole night. That game was so bad from the two of them that they almost owe their teammates an apology.

That may have been the worst game Bouchard has ever played, and Ekholm wasn’t far behind. Nurse had his moments of ineptitude too.

I tend to lean towards blaming goalie more than D a lot of the time, and I HATE the “defense needs to be better in front of him” excuse 90% of the time. This was one of those nights though IMO. Sloppy, bullshit hockey preceded most of the goals against, especially the key ones in the third when we imploded. f***ing morons decided to take a nice casual approach into the third with a one goal lead and the Panthers embarrassed them for it. Deserved.

To nobody’s surprise, the game was horribly officiated

Regardless though, tonight should end the Skinner debate. This guy is not an NHL starter, there is a reason he was left off Team Canada despite a recent cup final appearance. Everyone seems to know he sucks minus the Oilers front office

Drai and Hyman were great tonight, the rest of the team though was bad, Bouchard must be distracted by his contract situation or something

Also McDavid has just been average at best for his standards, over passing and not shooting again tonight

Ekholm was garbage. Responsible for the game winner. Henrique was terrible- gave it away for the 4-4 goal. Knob was terrible- still hasn’t figured out what works against Florida of wingers quick chips into the neutral zone.
