Seth Jones with one of the worst giveaways I’ve seen

If Chicago got better without him then why did they finish 2nd to last in points? Stop it
They were better without him than with him.

This isn’t that complicated.

The only times we had decent stretches with either coach in which the hawks played well and won games, Seth was not on the ice due to injury or being traded.

Even on your team he had the worst plus minus out of everyone on a per game basis. By a lot.

You stop it.

Funny but the GM was Bowmans errand boy for what, a decade? I cannot believe he had no clue about any of that garbage before it became known, but I degress....

But if anybody doesn't think the org isn't toxic, look no further then the supposed "generational talent" and his regression from franchise savior to hopefully a first line player.

Seth Jones was a top ten defenseman before he hit that iceberg, then suddenly became one again once he swam away.

Think about it.

Imagine how good Connor Bedard really is
On another team he's probably everything the media said he was.

The longer he's on the Blackhawks, the less likely that's ever going to happen.

At least Jones had the intelligence to get away from that toxic slop fest and moved forward when the media and fans painted him as some cancer because, no offense, I haven't seen any Cancer in Florida.

Honestly the hawks were a better team without jones. He was injured and they improved. He was back then they declined sharply on defense. Then he was gone and they played better. He is a poor defender prone to many gaffs. It was noticeable and quantifiable. I don’t know what you are talking about whiskey or whatever that’s a bit confusing to me.

Jones can also be an outstanding talent offensively. He has some elite aspects to his game. However, even his offense is flawed in huge ways. He makes terrible, selfish and poor decisions regularly with the puck and his shot kind of sucks. Countless times I’ve seen him on a rush about to create something, just to throw it into the goalies chest or pads instead of passing it to a wide open forward. He doesn’t seem to understand when to shoot. He will do it from long range with no one in the area for a rebound or traffic in front of the goalie. Bottom line he often doesn’t have good ideas about what to do with the puck and his shot is not good because of it.

He is outstanding at creating rushes I have to say. I think he’s also pretty good at keeping possession if he doesn’t throw it away on a shot he shouldn’t have tried.

If Florida fans want to pretend he is some amazing flawless player with a high iq because he had a great game, ok go ahead. I could give a shit. I’m very happy he is on your team and not mine.

I still think he is a very good player and I’m not trying to only mention his flaws. That was mostly in response to the irrational exuberance by some posters.

He is well worth 7.5 mil a year imo in their situation if they can keep him motivated and surround him with with a group who helps to cover up his inadequacies.
Lotta words to say you don’t like him. I didn’t either at what Chicago gave him, love him at his current hit.

Has nothing to do with what I like. I do like him and I have stuck up for him a lot. He’s better than people were saying months ago obviously, and I was sticking up for him then. People are getting a little carried away in the other direction, recently.

I'm not a big fan, but this guy was outstanding in G7 against TOR and has generally looked like a very good addition for FLA in this year's playoffs.
