He has the 3rd most career playoff goals by a player his age behind Gretzky and Crosby,

Which is a neat, little stat, but most likely meaningless. Unless of course you are expecting that to continue further into his career.

The only conclusion we can make right now is that the kid seems to raise his game in important moments. Fair?

I've always been annoyed by people who don't know their left from their right. How do you screw that up?

Personally, I would love to have Seth Jones, but not willing to overpay for the privilege of a sign and trade.

I'm going to get heat for this but I think Jones is a bit overrated. I value him a lot but he's being pumped up a lot and his next contract will be a problem contract. He has a corsi below 50% with 54% of offensive zone starts over the last two years and he's paired up with Werenski most of the time who is a good one on D too.

Reminds me of how Weber use to pass the puck to Suter/Josi to move it out all the time. Guys like Weber and Jones don't suck but I would worry about a potential $9M+ contract. I think other teams are worried about it too
