Series MVP Predictions

I'm not sure who will be the hero (I've defended Nylander and Campbell enough to justify naming them), but for this series I want Mitch Marner to completely defy expectations and walk on to the ice for the second round as the second coming of Gilmour.

I hope he's taken Kucherov's kick as personally as anything in his life and that his OHL to NHL arc is completed at the expense of Tampa.

Lose some teeth, win a scar, show up in the second round as our club's biggest perceived threat with Matthews smiling over his shoulder.

Who are your predictions for who will be MVP of the Tampa series? Can be either a Leaf or a Tampa player.

I'm gonna go with Marner. I think he flips the script from his last 2 runs in the playoffs and shows up huge against Tampa. 3G, 8A, 11 points while Toronto takes out Tampa in 6.

Mitch through 3 games is legitimately playing the best playoff hockey I've seen a Leaf play in the era of the big 4. The focus and drive he's playing with right now is just incredible to see. The way he's making a huge impact on all 200 feet of the ice is probably the biggest reason the Leafs have a 2-1 series lead, the kid is on the brink of taking over this series.

Your best players showing up every game raises the level of everyone else. Kampf is a close 3rd, the 3rd line in general really it feels hard to lose if they are having a good game and Campbell is average or better. Matthews has been good every game
