Rest in Peace Johnny Bower
IMO it has to be Campbell.
Fair enough it’s true i don’t dispute your points on Kucherov I just don’t see you here often if at all. Curious as to why you would would cross over to a fairly innocuous playoff thread on another teams board. I read the Ottawa board when someting interesting is going on. And you are a prolific poster there. The radio/media thread most often because I’m from Brockville and for a time that’s all I had for sports radio. I know more about the Sens then I care to lol. I may have posted there but don’t recall.
It seems comparable to me going on the Sens board in a thread like I see tonite say Tyler Boucher, and saying that it was a reach and gosh Cole Sillinger was sitting right there… but why as a Leaf fan who rarely if ever posts over there would I do that? It’s accurate but what would my motivation be? To be a liitle bit of irritant perhaps. Anyhow I don’t care who posts what just interested in the whys when I see something unusual, no hockey is going to send me to bed, Kershaw and under isn’t gonna keep me up, but deal Clayton.
No chance.Kucherov
Going to remind the NHL who the best playoff player is in the NHL, will take it personally to outperform Matthews or any Leaf that tries to take his title from him
He did have a better points per game than Matthews this season…again. I’d say “no chance” is a bit far fetched. No chance.
Nobody here gives a shit about what you think.Just more for the record, and the Leafs are a big story. I do believe Kuch is still the best player in the NHL and think he’s going to carry his team far. I’m sensing a TB-Cal final and Cal winning so a rematch of their final and TB first win. And the question is who will be the series MVP so just putting my 2 cents into the conversation. After Kuchs comments last year when they eliminated Montreal and he’s such a dirty player - will be watching to see if Toronto can do what CLB did to him and just never take a step back when he’s on the ice swinging his stick around.
I do think Matthews wins the regular season MVP and like I said I think Kucherov is an ass, but I do have my doubts that Toronto has the focus to take on a guy like Kucherov who plays dirty hockey and I wonder who in the T.O top 6 takes him on because it can’t be Spezza or a roll player, it has to come from someone who plays top PP because if not the fear will set in and TB by the end of period 1 will have the game play advantage
Not really. Leafs record when the big 4 show up speaks for itself. Has nothing to do with whose in net in that circumstance.IMO it has to be Campbell.
This^Your best players have to be your best players to win, so I'll go with Matthews.

This is what I was talking about - the tip of the spear for TB and their violence is Kucherov and if you don’t have something to put him in his place Toronto will be playing TBs game - but sadly sounds like Keefe is already willing to play TB at their own game and not Torontos game. I guess Keefe is taking head on so let’s see what Toronto can do with this and what they are made of because that’s ultimately what the playoffs do - they tell you the truth about your team
From Sportsnet - “I expect it to be a very physical, borderline violent series in a lot of ways. And our guys will be ready for that,” said Keefe, following Sunday’s peppy 60-minute practice.
Man, I think you are deliberately missing my main point. Your views of the series are likely better appreciated on the Ottawa or main boards.

I'd still take Matthews for his overall game.He did have a better points per game than Matthews this season…again. I’d say “no chance” is a bit far fetched.
Picking the important positions…good call.Tampa - Vasi or Hedman
Toronto - Soup or Muzzy
It has to be Campbell or we’re doomed
People are gonna be shocked when not many goals get scored in this series .. it will be a series of defensive attrition .. it is one of those series where you could find 5-7 guys go out with injuries .. say McD and Sergey go down with broken ankles or Vasi gets concussed well that's it for TampaPicking the important positions…good call.
