Have we ever beaten habs in playoffs?

Up until last night we never beat the Pens in the playoffs and we never came back from being down 3-1 in a series. Can't be concerned about things from the past!

exactly why i wanted montreal. overconfidence. they looked at the bruins as the best team, their biggest rival, they took care of them they think theyre gonna roll over us. theyre in for a rude awakening.

At this point like it or not both teams are legit contenders. One of them is going to be in the Stanley Cup finals. I think we're going to have to steal a game in Montreal. That's a tough place for us. If we can do that it's likely to be another long grueling series.

Subban is a great player but he is an absolute dick to play against. Almost impossible to hit this guy head on. He has an innate ability to turn off a hit or turn the hit back on the hitter. He agitates--does a lot of sneaky ****--can draw a lot of retaliation penalties. Rangers are going to have to be disciplined. Subban is also a monster of the pwp. A great shot and excellent vision. He can pick teams apart with his passing.

As for tonight's game--the refs did another crap job. They did no favors for the home team. I'm afraid that the same might happen to us. It seems whenever we play these guys there are some particularly ****** calls.

On the bright side I'd rather be playing than not playing. The Canadiens seemed to win their series in a similar way to how we've won ours by frustrating the **** out of the other teams better players.

Holy **** what the **** happened to Doc's voice? Did he have his balls hacked off or something?

As a pessimistic rangers fan it is still unimaginable to me that the NYR are 4 wins away from playing in a cup. Bruins/Habs was such a pick your poison match up, but I think I would have preferred the habs considering how physical the Bruins are.

With that said, Rangers in 7!

I've been saying all year the NYR are a serious team that no one should overlook. If Nash can get going and McD keeps getting his game back then MTL is going to get all they can handle. What did they finish 2-3 points ahead of us after our horrific start? Going to be a hell of a series. Best road team in the East and best road team in the league after October.
