IIRC, Dubas was a fan of his in his draft year. Senyshyn to TOR for a contract?
In his draft year. I doubt Dubas cares about him now, as a 24 year old who cant crack an NHL roster. No thanks.

Haven't followed this kid in forever and a day, so honest question. Is this a justified ask? His point totals in the AHL don't scream "NHL ready" but obviously that not everything. Is he genuinely worth some sort of flyer?

He got 8 of those points in 2 games.

Sensyshyn + 3rd for Jankrok? With Tanev hurt and if they move Jankrok there's a bottom 6 spot open. Seattle needs to try to find some younger players who can play in this league. Think they can give Sensyshyn a look and he can battle guys like Lind, McCormick, True and Twarynski for minutes.

Bruins take a lot of shit for their picks in 2015 but there are several teams that would like a re-do, don't tell me Strome Hanifin Zacha Crouse or Gurianov are fully living up to their pedigree either
It's one thing to say, "we get it, give it a rest." It's another to try grouping all these disappointments in the same bucket.
Strome has 129 points in 224 NHL games.
Hanifin is a very solid top 4 defenseman.
Zacha is a versatile bottom 6 forward.
Gurianov has established himself as a decent depth scorer.
Crouse has at least stuck in the NHL.

All of those were good picks at the time, and it just hasn't panned out as they've hoped.

The Bruins went off the board to take DeBrusk, who is now requesting a trade. They went way off the board to select Senyshyn, who is an AHLer and now requesting a trade. Even the one guy who was considered a decent pick at the time (Zboril) has been a disaster and only played 54 NHL games despite being nearly 25-years-old.

Difference is the Bruins had Three Consecutive picks 13-14-15 with the consensus Barzal and Connor still on the board and chose not to take either with any of those picks.

I dont think so. Like you said, his AHL numbers are nothing to write home about for a skilled top 6 foward. What gets me though is he isnt physical or anything so he really can't carve out a bottom 6 role in the NHL. IF I were in his shoes I would just play out the contract and go on a European paid tour for a few years.
