We had 2 5’8 AHLers on D in front of a mediocre AHL goalie last season and we had under 2 GAA in that stretch with the same coach and mostly the same forwards. What happened, other than having an unplayable 4th line?

I think people are being a bit over the top when it comes to Brodie. He is fine. By the time the playoffs roll around, Klingberg will be on the third pair and Gio will be the 7th or 8th defenseman.

Super steady, takes the body, great first pass Marcel Pronovost used to wear 3 while winning a SC with the Leafs, it's a shame about some of the players who've worn it since.

Find a coach that can implement a D first system and sacrifice a chance at the Rocket for the change at playoff success.
