Couture, Dickinson, 2026 1st, and another prospect? What would Ottawa fans want from San Jose for both Chabot and Tkachuk? The Sharks would need to send back at least 8.6 mil in cap to make it fit for the cap.

make room for tkachuk if you have too. his skillset would be great addition for nj.That's steep and could Jersey afford to put another 8+ mil forward on their roster?

It would definitely start with Palat and likely Hamilton as well (plug in Casey for his minutes). They likely have to find a way to move off of Palat.
I'd do palat (taking a bad contract), mercer, nemec, and a first for Tkachuk. It would definitely start with Palat and likely Hamilton as well (plug in Casey for his minutes).
I could see the argument either way that it doesn’t make sense to pour more big money on a top six forward, but seeing Palat on Hughes’ line right now is painful.
Marner and a 1st for Tkachuk.
Or
Matthews and a 1st for Timmy.
Leafs win the cup easily.
I don’t think Chabot gets you as much as you think. Injury prone, not amazing defensively and getting $8 mil for 3 years after this one
they are bottom 5 in the league HAHAATrading away talent is never the answer.
Patience can be difficult but the Sens aren't even in that bad of a spot for this year yet really.
