Nope. It might open for a day or two coming up as its going to be highs of -6(-24 low), -13(-23 low), -5(-8 low) which can reopen it.

But starting March 4th it will be highs of +2, +4, +1, which will probably kill the canal for the season as it doesn't get much colder than freezing after...and by mid March is historically over 0 for highs.

Thanks. I figured as much looking at the forecast for the week. I appreciate the confirmation.
 
What's the deal with the ignore funtion? Does anybody know why it asks if I want to see a post of somebody I have on ignore? That's the whole purpose of "ignore". So I don't see the post.

Yeah I think it changed just in the last few days.
 
Don't mean to go too political or emo here...but is anyone else, like, terrified about the future right now?

Is it weird that people aren't talking about it more?

I honestly think I need to see a shrink.

I'd guess it's fatigue as much as anything. You get used to a tire fire when it's perpetual.

But yes, the future's a scary place to think about. No idea where it's all going, but it's nowhere good. My personal approach has been to just focus on what I can do in the here and now to make my life, and those around me, a little better. Just because the top-level shit is broken beyond repair doesn't mean we should agonize about things over which we have no control.

I'm a grown ass man and I honestly feel like I need a hug. I've been low-key toying with the idea of moving to europe. I feel like people are ignoring what's going on.

I honestly just need people to validate that they're feeling the same or confirm that I'm going crazy.

EIther would make me feel immensely better.

I think there’s a healthy balance between being informed and over-consuming the news, especially with everything going on right now. It was helpful to me to unplug a bit from current affairs and focus more on family, friends, etc.

I feel tremendous guilt for having a child, that's for sure, but that's not isolated to today.

Don't care what happens to me though. And I definitely give no f***s about the future of humanity. Ants on an anthill until the species is eradicated and another one takes hold eventually. It's inevitable. Hopefully the next one is cool like the Dinosaurs and not lame like humans though.

I went too hard core into the news and I told my husband that it was a nice break to listen to true crime podcasts instead of news.
