Nice! Congrats man.

Anyone else do anything cool this week / have anything fun planned ?

I've just been working (9 more days of tax season, wooo!) And playing Chrono Trigger on the bus on my 3ds and working on some music that I wanna record next month !

Also, I decided I'm gonna sign up to do Nursing in the end :D A lot of money, but at the end of the day 100% worth it. Pre-req courses start September

Ugh. I still need to file.

Things are starting to get delivered/installed to my place. So hopefully in a few weeks can move back home!

Are there any articles/reports written by respected, credable and un-biased journalists that discusses why Obama and Bush are bad presidents? Everything I've read appears to be authored by people who clearly can't remain un-biased/impartial about each respective leader.:help:

Read The Economist to get you started

It's far more complex an issue than just were they good/bad

Less so for Dubya though

I was being lofty in the description

It's maintaining a database to make sure that all the information we give to the public who calls is accurate

So it's research government announcements, media releases and stuff so make sure we stay on top of things

Not quite research in the academic sense of the word I'm afraid

So you're like the matrix?

Hey, thanks for the condolences, everyone.

Dang yo, condolences, had she been really sick? My last grandparent died like eleven years ago, always surprised when people my age still have them. I really feel like I could have got a lot more out of them knowing them as an adult, rather than just those strange old people serving me grapefruit juice the max. twice a year I saw them as a kid. But considering I moved to Europe I probably wouldn't have had that much of a chance even if they'd lived longer..

Yeah, she was 86 with serious dementia/Alzheimer's issues. Found a huge mass in her lungs last week (she was a smoker for 70+ years), so it wasn't exactly a surprise, but also not really all that much easier to deal with, especially when I'm over here and unable to attend the funeral or see family in person.

I'm procrastinating in writing some emails right now reaching out to a few people, knowing that they'll be angry that I'm not flying over for the service, despite the fact that I'm totally unable to do so.

Sorry for your loss BonkTastic. I still have both my grandmothers (One's 90 next week and the other's 88) but both my grandfathers are gone.

Wow I was pretty excited for that game, but I hadn't looked into any details at all lately. That chart makes it look pretty *****.
Classic EA game I guess.

EA screws up every non-sports franchise it can get it's grubby hands on. They always release a 3/4 completed game, and sell you the other 1/4 over the course of the next year and a half via DLCs to double their profit. It is staggeringly painful that the gaming community still supports these multiple-payment delivery methods.

Need I remind anyone about the latest Sim City? What an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful game that was ruined by nothing more than pure, unabashed greed.

Hell, they often mess up in sports too, see NHL 15.
Not to mention how third-parties make money off of using exploits to generate and sell in-game currency in the FIFA series, and they are doing an absolutely terrible job at stopping it, making the game arguably worse in their recent attempts.

I also heard Sims 4 was a stripped-down piece of crap compared to Sims 3. Glad I didnt buy that
