Is anyone here good with Wordpress and willing to answer a question about permalinks? I keep getting numbers instead of the name of my site in the permalink URL (e.g. http://69.195.124.204/~integtd8/chance-and-variance/ instead of what I want, which is http://integratinghockeyanalysis/chance-and-variance/ ).

Please PM me if you have a fix for this. Online pages don't seem to cover this question, so it may be an issue with how I set it up to begin with.

Did you ever figure this out?

Drove from Orleans to uOttawa in this snowstorm only to realize I forgot my class notes at home :(

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. Are you finished with school?

I just finished my last final exam today.

I got to say, i don't really have a good feeling for the exam i took yesterday and the exam i took today. :(

I have a Macro III exam on Saturday then I'm done. I wrote one yesterday too and I don't feel too good about it either, I'll be ruining my holidays by having to check if the marks are in a few times a day lol.

On the flip side, at least you're done exams. Enjoy the 25 days off

I won't be able to really enjoy any of my days off until i get my grades.

It really sucks that i struggled with both my exams even though one was a take home essay and i could use my notes. It feels like my brain just shut off a little to early.

Sounds like you just procrastinated in studying and in writing the takehome essay. It's a common illness in every student, I fell victim to it a couple days ago.

For some reason I thought getting to school at 1am and studying till 9:30am then going to write my exam right away after was a good idea...for anyone reading this, trust me, it is not a good idea

My first exam i studied a lot for actually. I even spent 3 hours before the test studying with another student for it. There was a lot of information to process. Then when the test came up, i totally blanked on some parts of the essay questions. Maybe i just studied a little too hard for it.

My second exam however i did not really study for being that i figured it would be easier being that it was a take home and i could use my notes.

I don't think i failed my exams, but i don't think i did as well as i should have done. It sucks because these finals could be the difference of me getting either an A or a B.

Being in grad school is tough. Next semester is going to be tougher. Taking 3 classes with one of them being statistics.

I found doing actual studying within in a couple hours of an exam was the worst thing to do - none of that ever actually stuck. Doing a quick refresh on my study notes before walking in was alright, though some of that was just confidence building before writing.

Studying before the exam doesn't usually seem to be a problem with me actually. I did study for the whole week leading up to the exam as well.

I felt that i have not done so well on exams before, but i ended up finding that i did in fact do well. So we will see, but i still think i screwed up them.

Yeah, sometimes the best course of action is to just study and then take it easy when you feel you're ready for it so you don't over-stress yourself. I'm sure you did well though man (I hope).

What program are you in and what statistics class is it?

That sounds pretty awesome, what do you plan on doing with that degree in terms of career?

And yeah man, math sucks...I realized that too late into my program lol

**** I forgot my headphones, can someone watch this for me and confirm how big of an idiot this guy is?

I mean you should know who Mandela is, but if you don't, it's okay to just say you don't keep up with South-African politics :shakehead:

Nice.

Honestly not a clue...I work part-time at a bank as a teller now lol, so I'll see if I want to move up but I'm not too sure yet.

At one point all 3 of my sisters were working at different banks as managers or PBs, I'm not too sure if I want to follow that trend. I'd like to breakaway from it and create my own path if you know what I mean...I just need to figure out how lol.

Called Mandela one of the most influential athletes of all time, said that he was known around the league as a good guy by his actions both on and off the ice.

You should get a job for the Sens and use your economic skills to force Melnyk to spend more money. ;)
