I had a wicked sore throat last week for several days and it went away (thankfully just before I trekked back to Ottawa for a concert) but it's now come back as a head cold that is absolutely killing me.

I woke up at least 8 times in the last two nights from coughing. Impossible to focus on anything.

I thought this as well. Wasn't sure where he got off describing us all as cops working the street, or even cops that now transmit colds (???)

Check out Angry Joe's review. Best one I be seen (Warning: it's 34 minutes long). Basically he points out all the flaws that everyone can see but explains why it's so goddamm fun and addictive. I'm playing the crap out of it daily but there's still a lot that annoys me. It's really great how much stuff continues to get released and updated daily. I think this game ends up similar to Diablo 3 in that it has a rocky start and eventually becomes a great game overall. Most of the stuff can be fixed and we know there's gonna be loads more content.

Finally at lvl 25 now and I have all legendary weapons. Can't wait for the weekend so I can pick up an exotic piece of armor and push to maybe 27 or 28 unless I get something decent from the Queens wrath event this week. I keep getting the chest plate though. I need some damn boots!

Destiny loot system ****ing sucks. Bringing in the cryptarch aspect into this game just makes it even worse.

Just got a legendary engram, but the cryptarch turned it into a blue item. Are you kidding me?

Definitely seems like the core of the game is fine. The basic gameplay looks really well done. Luckily all the broken parts are fixable or changeable. Did multiplayer change at all from the beta? Looks better now.

Despite all the complaints, I've yet to see one person actually stop playing it. I'd get it if I had an xbone...

A guy on ****** did some research and found that purple engrams turn to legendaries about 30% of the time, exotics 1% and the rest rare/blues/strange coins the rest.

It's not that bad really. Clearly the best way to go is to get your faction/vanguard/crucible rep up and just buy what you need . It also makes it that much more satisfying when you actually get one off a drop.

If you need legendaries, just do the Queens Wrath bounties this week. You get a mission for each completed bounty then get at least one legendary at the end of each mission. I got a Sniper rifle and Chest plate today in one mission. I now have 3 of those damn chest plates but at least I can scrap them for Ascendant shards which I really need anyways.

I don't think much has changed since the beta in terms of multiplayer. There was only control as a game mode and 2 maps so obviously there's way more now. Also, everyone has gone way beyond level 8 and everybody has their 2 subclasses with way more abilities so there's way more variety in a match than in the beta.

They brought out The Iron Banner mode in the beta which hasn't come in yet. Basically it actually takes every body's level advantage and applies it. This will be really interesting if it's released 3 weeks in. Gonna make for some crazy matches with people who are at level 29+ with exotics coming out their golden ass.

Go in through Gate 2 (the Valet Parking side gate), and there's a coat/bag check there.
