Well done. God knows that takes a ton of hard work and commitment. It was hard enough losing 25 lbs. last Summer.

I really should get back into a healthier lifestyle. Working full-time this Summer has drained my energy though, and I just have no motivation to workout when I get home as a result.

Weight loss is a fickle *****. Good on ya, Fuhr and Benny. It can be tough but self-improvement just kicks ass once you get into the swing of it. Keep up the great work.

Ward-o, get better soon man. Although, congrats on the unintended side-effect?

I'm definitely in the same boat as Mr. I, though. Keep telling myself I'll get back to where I was about two years ago, when I was hitting the gym daily or near-daily and eating healthy (and borderline paleo, even.) I've still got ball hockey, so I'm not sedentary, but I've really gotta get back into the healthy living thing.

(Side note: another damn tie in the aforementioned ball hockey last night. Grr.)

if a greyhound bus is scheduled to make stops in like 10 different small towns on the way to Toronto for a total of almost a 7hr trip... Do you think it just bypasses the cities were nobody needs to get on or off and just coasts through thus making the trip shorter?

I'm in a dilemma.. I wanted to take the bus tomorrow night to see my gf but don't want to sit on a bus for 7hrs and get in at midnight... or my other option is take the bus at 7am thursday and get in at noon.

They stop regardless.
I took the Greyhound once to go from Ottawa down this way, and from then on decided it was worth the cost to train or fly instead.

As someone who takes about 8-10 Greyhounds a year :)cry:), most small towns that my bus has passed through took less than just a few minutes to move on as many stops only have 1 or 2 people getting on/off.

I suppose it could vary though as a trip to Toronto would likely be in higher demand when compared to a bus to/from Ottawa/Sudbury.

I've learned to sort of appreciate the 7-8 hour trips from Sudbury to Ottawa and vice versa.

It helps departing at midnight and getting there in the morning. #MidnightBus

Manufacturing is one economic sector representing a minority of Canadian businesses. The service sector is far larger and can be taxed without the risk of capital flight. Alberta and Saskatchewan are thriving because of resource booms more than they are because of low corporate taxes.

in Ontario it was one of the most important. I agree looking at Canada as a whole, but Ontario was always the economic engine of the country, with plenty of manufacturing.

I've packed on loads of weight since my back injury years ago. I used to get away with eating whatever I wanted because I was so active, but now I don't really get away with it anymore.

That was me 15 years ago, it took my four agonizing years, and the right doctor, to finally fix me. With the back, I don't think you are ever fixed, you just learn to "manage" things better.

I am as fit and active as I have ever been into my forties but boy oh boy, those years when I was younger, I can never get them back.

I got to lose weight too, really want to get down to 200 pounds by the end of the year which means 30 pounds I got to lose. Would be hard but worth it in the end.

Simply calorie counting and biking has lost me 75lbs, mind you I was (and still am) a big guy so that number isn't ad impressive as it sounds.

I'm going to say there is 99% chance I'm the only one who will realize the significance of this but...

I just packed Robben, Suarez, Ozil and Iniesta in FUT World Cup and I'm ****ing bricks.

Manked is being modest.

You look significantly healthier (and happier). What you have done is exactly what people should be striving to do. I'd say that's pretty damn impressive.

Wow, great job guys!

Really pumped for the my next workout day now :D

Gained about 3 lbs of muscle from 1 1/2 month's worth of training despite some annoying interruptions. Aiming for 160-170 by next year this time around. At 148 now :)
