Watch out, you might get a warning from the incredibly oversensitive mods that seem to stalk our lounge.

I'm still peeved that I got a warning the other day for that crap.

On an unrelated note, I've got my first driving session tomorrow (first time actually out on the road with an instructor). I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly nervous. Wish me luck!

Good luck!

I drove a car for the first time ever last month... and got my 10 lessons. Passed the test 2 days ago on my first try. :)

I don't get annoyed very easily by a poster, but that "ottawa" dude is doing a pretty good job right now.
He irritates me so much. Massive troll, and not a good one.
Will be yea.

If i have any weird posts on hf that will be why. Please dont infract me then mods
I've had four surgeries -- three on my eyes, one for wisdom teeth. Trust me when I say the more relaxed you are, the better. Just go with it, try not to get too nervous, and take your anti-biotics no matter what. Otherwise, just have fun with it. People are almost obligated to be nice to you post-surgery!

I love the batch of mods we have on the Sens board. Bar none. They do their job when they have to but they don't get in the way of having fun or stomp on people unnecessarily. The Sens board has some of the best moderators on the site, and it makes it that much more frustrating to step into the main boards (or any other team board) because the standards seem to change.

That's all I have to say about that.

Thanks! Should make for an experience. I've got 5 (2 hours per) lessons before my G2 testing on August 14th. I'm supposed to be driving to and from school in Sudbury this upcoming school year, so I'll need to really make sure I pass.

Oh, I agree 100%. I love our mods. Unfortunately, this was a foreign mod that, for whatever reason, happened to be in our lounge and deleted a bunch of posts and gave me a warning about something incredibly trivial.

I'm being honest when I say that my in car lessons were some of the worst times of my entire year last year. They were miserable and I was miserable the day before and the day after as well, I had a ****** of an instructor though.

On another note, I'm making my iTunes library really pretty right now.

Haha, school was also the reason I had to get it. My clinical rotation can be anywhere in Alberta , so driving was a necessity.

That comparison one.

I saw the most thought provoking question today.

"Is North Korea living in the past or future?"

Ah, ya when Silf first showed it to me I really saw it, I like it.

As for your question, the past.

Yes.

Far more provoking: would you rather be forced to start every sentence you say with "Listen up, ass hole" or be forced to finish every sentence you say with "Just kidding."?

I just realized that either of them would make it so you would never, ever, have a good interview.

True. You'd pretty much have to do it via computer or have a boss with a wicked sense of humour.
What percentage of people get more liberal as they age?
27 per cent.

So you'd be okay with saying "Listen up, *******... happy birthday, grandma."?

I doubt I'd be completely at ease with that but the alternative "you're dying of testicular cancer, I'm so sorry...just kidding" seems worse if said person is in fact dying of testicular cancer and you were responsible for telling him. One makes you a jackass, the other makes you a liar. I'll take jackass since I'm halfway there already. :D
