I laugh at how Ottawa reacts to things like these.

We live in a city where we get a minor tornardo (only knocking out trees) like every decade, minor floods every once in awhile (flooding the basement), and earthquakes once a year that don't even knock down dishes and the city honestly goes into a panic.

Meanwhile, my poor relatives in Houston face more dangerous natural disasters in a month than we do in a decade.

Last years (or was it two years ago?) earthquake was like the apocalypse for a lot of people I knew.
