Post-Game Talk: Sens @ Leafs | Be like a tree, and let the dead leafs drop. Let the winds of change carry you towards the light - Rumi

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
I don't really care how we do it but we've been winning those ugly games. The games we've been losing at the beginning of the season we are winning towards the end of the season and it's finally karma coming back on us!

You've been on the wrong side in March for the past seven years and not playing meaningful hockey after the trade deadline and counting our days. I'm talking about draft picks and who to fire.

I certainly love watching hockey in March and it actually meaning something. Never mind the potential for games to mean something in April.

We have not had the prettiest wins but at the end of the day it isn't a beauty contest. It's about who gets to win.

Tonight was one of those games where none of the superstars were able to step up, but the rest of the team did and those are type of games that happen in the playoffs. Also. It's not always going to be your big guns winning the games.

Ully brought his a game this week. He showed up big time and that save against the bruins was mind-blowing and I don't think we will forget that one for a long time. You made a statement that save saying he's here. He's going to shut the door. You going to make a run for the players. Our captain is just OTT that dude is ready to kick down any door on his way!

I got to say this week there is no passengers on this team. That was a whole team ever fighting tooth and nail every inch and every goal that looked like a team that earned playoff position.

I'm really proud of how they played this week. Showed how the team has progressed and have learned from their mistakes and are playing the game the right way. It's a beautiful thing to see.

Those bounces aren't lucky, it's just how we play now and it's by design. He's making it sound like we're just getting bounces lol. Hockey Psychology put out a really good video on us couple hours ago:

Really glad we're modelling after Florida. Bodes well for the playoffs, and it's no surprise a team like the Leafs have trtrouble.

Thanks for sharing the video!

Stutzle has a pretty impressive turn and strike right to Sanderson’s stickblade from across the offensive zone.

Batherson had a good game, is he one of the big guys?

Anyway, I agree that it was a team effort, but the big guns were a part of that too.

Their turn to the dark side is almost complete.

Man the Leafs are a soft team, they are never going anywhere in the playoffs with Mathews, Marner & Nylander being so soft. We saw who stood out at the 4Nations, it was Tkachuk not Mathews. It will be the same in the playoffs, they are way too soft. Knies needs to step up for them to go anywhere. Something is going on with that team.

Eh. Nylander is probably the guy I'd make sure to keep. He just can't do it on his own.

Gotta love seeing them with no 1st round picks in the next 3 drafts too
