Win a close battle against an NHL favoured team and it will be an infraction more often than not. Not saying there aren't genuine penalties, just saying that anything somewhat iffy, borderline, will be ruled accordingly for the NHL's darlings That would be Montreal, Toronto, New York, Vegas, likely more. In these markets, the fans are typically a 5th official that the league shivers in fear of.
