If Halliday plays, I don't think it would be to replace Tkachuk or Highmore. Since Gaudette is miscast as an offensive C playing on the 4th line, I think Halliday could be miscast in that same role. But I expected Jenik to be the call up at this point based on recent form, and he'd be a better fit on the 4th line.

But I don't think Halliday is going to play, so this speculation is moot.

He seems to have slowed down a bit production-wise, but all-in-all 43 points in 59 games to lead the team in scoring in his first pro season is impressive.

I appreciate all the advice from everyone. Won't be spending any money in Buffalo besides maybe two diet cokes (none of us drink), going to eat at a vegan restaurant in St. Catherines that my friend and I have been meaning to check out. This was a gift purchased by him for me a while back when I was recovering from some health scares. We've made some safety plans to ensure we're sorted if there are issues at the border and won't make any noise when we get there (won't be booing during the USA anthem while we're in their backyard). Also considering going to a couple of temples (Hindu or Sikh) if we get there early enough.

Feels like tomorrow is the only game they could have realistically sat Brady to give him a decent amount of rest before we get into that 3 games in 4 nights gauntlet against teams fighting for their playoff lives, but it looks like they'll wait until he's barely able to skate to do so.

I'm guessing they'll play him until the playoff spot is mathematically clinched. Sit him before then and you run the risk of looking really really dumb if they flame out and miss the playoffs.

Looking forward to the opportunity to play a weak team and bounce back from being trampled by them so far. Had a good 40 minutes vs Devils and saw the dominant energy come back, even though it disappeared in the 3rd.

Need to give Brady a break here as it should be winnable without him. Depth players need to continue with the crash and bash around the net and greasy goals will keep coming.

They're a bit more lenient if you go away long enough for the maximum limit to be reached, like a week, as opposed to a day or two, where they get so suspicious.

I lived in Windsor for a couple of years for school and the only time the USA agents gave me crap was the first time I went over, and it was because I was taking two coach buses to Grand Rapids to see a rock show that Scott Stapp was headlining. The dude didn't think anyone from Canada would wanna see him. He wouldn't listen when I told him I was just going for a couple of the openers. They put me in a separate room and made me show them my airbnb booking and show ticket, but the supervisor was chill. After that never had any issues with shows in the actual Detroit DT. CBSA agents are always chill. They just teased me for not buying merch/sports jerseys that are more modern whenever I got back to Canada.
