I get the joke but on a serious note

There's no reason for him to get a negative reception. Even his most recent quotes were about wishing he could have been part of the solution.

Stilli expect some people to book him because he turned soft, and others because they willfully misinterpreted the comments he made during intermission of his first game with ottawa

On one hand we know that booing can impact the game positively for the Sabres.
On the other hand, if it works, it will help push us up to draft 8th, as usual.
On the other other hand, it might stifle ottawa's playoff push.

Yeah, I have nothing but respect for how Cozens left and his conduct showed someone who may have cared too much being put in a position over his head without help.

Big fan of your posts Chainshot, but he received all the help a player could ask for here. Sometimes things don't work out, and he needed to be moved. Classy kid, but man did he suck here! We wasted so much valuable time waiting on him to figure it out. I for one have enjoyed the games without watching his numbskull plays. I wish him luck, except when the Sabres play Ottawa.

Also, to the tankers.... screw draft position. Keep working on your game and win as many as you can to finish the season. The core of this team isn't going to get any better with the 4th or 9th pick. Kulich and Peterka were later picks, Cozens and Nylander were early picks. Just stockpile multiple picks!

Cozens prediction.

The 6,000 Ottawa fans in attendance give him a standing ovation for his intro. The 2,000 Sabres fans are indifferent.

Cozens 3G, 1A, 1 Fight(he kicks the Sabres players ass). So a hattrick and a gordie howe hattrick.

I hope Kevyn and Terry are in attendance and feel utterly embarrassed. Terry fires Kevyn on the spot.

Cozens can then turn back into a pumpkin for the rest of his career.
