Tough game. Some bad bounces and tired bodies against a well rested team. Poorly coached by Torts. Biron needed this start and breaking up our best line to put Richards between Nash
and Hags is inexcusable, IMO.

the trick is to get all the players going. With Richards struggling and not practicing with the team the past few days I thought it was a good idea to put Richards with Hagelin and Nash that are going so fast right now and it did help to tie the game in the first. However, I think some line juggling should have been done in the third when things looked stale and I would have put that nash hagelin stepan line back together.

I like Biron and sort of agree that he should have started, but I don't think he could have made the save henk made throughout the night

Jason, angry always belongs when your team loses. Just like calm optimistic comments belong. All the comments belong after a loss. What doesn't belong are people judging and telling others that their opinion or how they handle something doesn't belong.

out of shape and coaching staff felt it was better for him to sit. Honestly I agreed, but I felt one of eminger or hamrlik was sat for Gilroy. Gilroy has a lot of speed and think that was needed against a team line the senators.

You have to realize what kind of coach you have.

Tortorella is not a tactician. He is a motivator. Most of the posters on here are better at line combos and adapting strategies during the game.

Torts screams, he yells, he gives a pat on the pack, and uses psychology, to extract the maximum effort and ability of each player.

You can't expect a grinder with stone hands to get 40 goals, and you can't expect a motivational coach to be a tactition.

so can we replace torts with ice girls?
