The rangers were in a situation a few weeks ago where they controlled their own destiny vs NJ. That isn’t the case anymore because they lost the games in hand they had on NJ. They are 6 pts back and now NJ has the extra game in hand.

So no, the Rangers did not catch up the last week

Anyone else think it’s do or die time for Foote ? He’s been around long enough where he needs to do something to stay in the lineup or he is going to be a career minor league player that gets a sniff once in a blue moon when there are tons of injuries. I guess he is already that lol.

I think do or die time has already passed for him. Some of it because of injury, but he didn't show anything in the preseason or his previous call up this season. I think he's already been on waivers.

But maybe it's bonus time for him.
