Keefe is the least of my concerns. These guys need to figure it out. They got results when they were following Keefe's system.

They got results when the bottom 6 was scoring and the PP was on pace to set a record. They need more scoring. That is all, big all, but that's the issue.

If this were past years I'd be cursing his ass out for not making any adjustments at all (he's like the f***ing polar opposite of Lindy)...but I've purposely refrained because I'm just done with these players. The problem is it's getting worse. The little bunch of OT games seemed like a turning point .. like they were getting their footing back and then last two were the absolute worst ones of the season.

It's a bad trend now. It's a months worth of games with lackluster performances. There is almost no compete anywhere.

The other problems need to be fixed/addressed first before we can even properly evaluate the coaching. This is a player and Fitz issue, they need to wake the f*** up here before this actually does get into nail biting time

People aren't going to like hearing it but Pesce should be the one to come out. Not Dougie.

he's playing worse than Nemec was at the beginning of the season on a bum shoulder. the lack of offensive ability from the d-pairs is affecting the scoring (and I think also is part of the blame for the sub par OTs this year). don't like the idea of scratching Dougie and having even less offensive abilty from the blueline. but I don't think they'll scratch Pesce, maybe scratch Dillon and move Pesce to LD on Dougie's pair and run Hughes-Nemec

At this point in the game where you HAVE to generate some offense they area passing like rec leaguers. It's just pathetic how little work they're doing to make the pass and receive the pass. It's almost like they're not passing so much as just getting rid of the puck before they are the one to blame for the turnover.

Something is up with the team. Being sick makes you lethargic, and I can see this being the case.

"Sickness" could also be a convenient excuse for laziness, but I don't think that's the case here. I think there's something going around in the locker room and they'll find their way out of it in a week.

With that said, there are some trades I want to see happen, but I don't want them moving Nemec, unless they can get someone at a similar age (cost controlled) at forward that is known to be a goal scorer or with goal scoring potential.

If they can't get a top 6 forward, then they need to address the bottom 6 depth and Nemec should not be included in the deal.

Coaching wasn't an issue when the on ice play was crisp and structured. It's just a cop-out right now.

The last two games were an overturned goal and a bounce from another couple points. Didn’t happen because that’s the way it’s going.

There have not been “months” of bad performances and there’s plenty of compete. They just don’t have any gas.

He's been bad away from Luke this year and now that Luke's been playing bad as well the pair is getting crushed. As much as I like to shit on the Dillon-Dougie pair it's getting way too much shit and is one of the only bright spots on the team since the break. You're completely right that the lack of offense from the D is impacting their ability to score. I also agree with you that Pesce won't get taken out.

Legit Nico is like the only core guy I find likeable right now. Consistently gives it his all, is out there being productive while getting the most difficult defensive assignments. Noesen too, but he's not in that "core" group.

Jack puts up points but plays like a f***ing toddler.
Bratt disappears for gigantic stretches at a time.
Timo isn't dynamic in the slightest and is getting paid $9 million dollars to put up the same amount of points as Zetterlund.
Mercer is a f***ing 3rd liner.
Dougie has become a trainwreck who allows multiple odd man rushes against every f***ing game and no longer has a big bomb.
Luke dangles and dangles and dangles...only to shoot/pass it into someone's shins.

I just hope the players aren’t taking the view of a lot of posters here with that stuff. No one is going to feel sorry for them. The standings don’t have a column for “games that don’t matter because they were gassed”.
