No one cares
Emelin is in control of what is said about him, he has not played well and he knows that and he needs to be better and CJ is being patient with him but also showing him that other players will be given chances as well. MT would never bench a vet but always the young guys with no real explanation, there is accountability with CJ but understanding as well, it is refreshing to have a coach like this after a guy like old toe nails.

Let's hope Emelin is not a complete donkey on the ice tonight.

Surprised Ott is out but good for McCarron.

Finally a coach who makes logical decisions...Price plays back to back.

From Arpon Basu's twitter, this is what Julien says he expects from Emelin tonight.

It's been a few interviews where Julien says things like "we need to help him..." I like hearing that. He was saying the same thing about Galchenyuk when he came on board.

I'm still impressed at the fact that we have an intelligent, well-spoken, and thoughtful head coach.

Ok for Emelin to come back in, but cut his mins and let him show he can have a good game on the 3rd pairing. He hasn't looked better than any of the other 5.

indeed very refreshing, i was also really happy to hear Danault's comments in the interview after yesterdays game that they worked alot on the positioning in the offensive zone and overall offensive strategy lately and it starts to pay devidence. It seems like they were always working on defensive play and play without the puck before.

I hope he gets hired somewhere. I remember the main boards laughing at us for having him, would be great to see him inflict some other club.

I don't even remember what it felt like when he coached the Penguins and we had him coaching another team from our POV.

But it would be a fun feeling to get to see him behind another team's bench, especially after this latest run.
