All those interested know, the Melnyk family will not sell to anybody who wants to relocate the Senators. Sources say the NHL’s requirement is that the new owners will have to complete a lease agreement with the National Capital Commission to build a new rink at LeBreton Flats.

Remember the good old days when nobody would buy a team in Ottberia unless of course they could relocate to some beautiful city in the U.S.

We need the super rich owner with multi billions not the small fish players.

We sure have come a very long way.
 
Wow I was told by the weirdo pro melnyk Ottawa hating crowd that no one will be interested in buying the team and the only reason it’s still in Ottawa is because of Eugene.

Shout out to the Melnyk sisters. I hope they keep at least a 5% stake and are still around the community.

No idea why the weirdo pro Melnyks, are Ottawa haters, can’t figure that one out tbh.
Maybe it’s in your head, cause I don’t really paint that brush on either side.
 
I wonder when the deadline is to submit bids. I just hope that the next owner(s) does a better job and has more money than the previous ones did. Lord knows that this team needs some serious credibility in the ownership dept.

I for one would love a reality show for the Senators. There is nothing like getting that access to the inside behind the scenes as a fan imo. Just hopefully without the circus part. To each their own though, and I do feel like the priority needs to be big business doing it right and something like Reynolds joining is just a cherry on top, not the priority.

Could definitely do with the Weeknd and his awful music though.
