Looks like more turd poutine in the offing for the Scabs. With a side of knuckle sandwich. Hodgson can hold is own, Sebrango, Rhino are willing, and Boucher was selected partly because of his physicality/hits along the boards but would be interesting to see if he is willing to drop the mitts.

Play full lineup tomorrow and use the AHLers to take on the Scabs at home. Use elbows, sticks, knees, knuckles..or plain bitch slap.

If only MacEwwwen knew his role, as much as he sucks on it (probably the worst fighter in the league, even speed bag Watson is better). Waiver candidate.

Asking for fantasy, does anyone have a sense if Sanderson or Chabot will anchor PP1?

It looks like it's going to be Sanderson to start the year. I would say they are very similar in ability as PPQB, Sanderson has yet to really excel in that role. It wouldn't be a surprised if they a swapped between units multiple times this year depending on what's working and what isn't. I'll also say PP2 has been pretty good when it's been anchored by Giroux.

Chabot and Sanderson are not by a long shot PP specialists. They do not have a hockey IQ for that.
In 156 games in NHL Sanderson recorded just 31 PP points and 5 goals. It is beyond dismal! Also was charged with 3 GWG during those PP. Mister Chabot in 432 games in NHL, recorded only 9 PP goals and 82 points. I believe Zub will do twice as much. It is just atrocious numbers and Chabot should never ever run a PP! Sens have no choice but keep Yakemchuk as a PP specialist if they want to make playoffs.

Impressive. Had no idea Sanderson had that many pp points from such a limited power play role in his first two seasons in the league.

Yeah I mean Brady doesnt need to play anymore this pre season. I just loved the Tkachuk Pinto Batherson line last year to end the season. Found they really dominated play and zone time. All are such big guys and cover alot of the ice. Each had a role too. I was hoping we would see it in pre season but havent seen it yet.

I have liked Amadio's skill I really think the way he plays could compliment Stutzle another combo I hope we get to see. But if Tim is also hurt we dont see that either.
I would definitely try tkachuk-pinto-batherson again
And then Norris-stutzle-giroux

Stutzle carries the puck a ton so put him with guys who carry it less. And can score off feeds from the middle. Norris can cross over to the right for one timers.

Sens have recalled some players to ensure they can goon it up against the habs, lol.

Good callups
