It's looked like his back is bothering him less.He has been better this year than at any time since Jaybo retired.

I think it's more the fact he isn't being forced to be the only one to play the toughest d-matchupsIt's looked like his back is bothering him less.
Definitely helps now that the Blues players have been able to get some practices in as well. The Blues used the middle of the ice so beautifully in the first period breaking out of the zone. Ottawa adjusted in the second but the Blues checked really nicely the final 40 minutes and pretty much controlled the entire game. Ottawa didn’t even have a great scoring chance from my memory. Don’t tell me coaching doesn’t make a difference. Just a well coached and executed game.

Ha. Ya, I was sitting right behind Binner on that play. Also, Nick Jensen was horrible. They are in a rough part of their schedule with the WJC’s taking them out of Ottawa for a long roadie but they looked terrible. Hard to believe we lost to them 8-1.Maybe not a "great scoring chance" given that it started with a weird bounce; but let us not forget the telekinetic powers of Binnington to keep that Cousins goal out.
He'll be 22 years old next month, and as a skilled forward, he's not generating much on a consistent basis, and I get that he doesn't have the best linemates, but still....
Who is saying he should be relegated to the 4th line?Bolduc's most common linemate Oscar Sunqvist who has 6 points on the season. Bolduc also is 4th on the team in 5v5 Points/60. But sure, let's relegate him to the 4th line. Y'all are silly.

id expected Bolduc to be better in the second half. A lot of young guys take 50-games or so to start to figure out the league. He may get the Sammy Blais treatment and buried on the fourth line if he can’t produce by this time next year.

Agreed. Anyone that doesn’t see the talent, tenacity and upside of Bolduc simply isn’t looking hard enough.Bolduc's most common linemate Oscar Sunqvist who has 6 points on the season. Bolduc also is 4th on the team in 5v5 Points/60. But sure, let's relegate him to the 4th line. Y'all are silly.
Or not looking at all. It's easy for all to see how Bolduc becomes the water. It's a gradual unfolding that is nice to witness.Agreed. Anyone that doesn’t see the talent, tenacity and upside of Bolduc simply isn’t looking hard enough.
