He gets caught as soon as he crosses over his own blue line

He was at the end of the shift there.


Looking at this game now those starts are so frustrating, no need to get dominated before you start playing.

The Koivu line seems to have woken up. Much better second half of the period for them. Best line for Finland. The Barkov line needs to engage better. Not sure if Barkov is still ailing. He seemed to be a tad off that period. Will see if they are better in the 2nd period.

Team Russia played almost a perfect period. Very committed this game. Lots of energy. Only thing is they did not covert their PP chance.

Russia deservedly in the lead, but Finland woke up in the end and anything can happen still. Very enjoyable so far.
