I think the point is that "they don't care" is a lazy analysis. It would be pretty absurd if they didn't. However, most people that say things like that seem to expect that it's just to start skating hard, and it's not.

What is even more baffling, is him being chosen as captain, he's effort level is abysmal most of the time, and I'm a Ducks fan.
