But they don't...because they usually absorb the hit. I mean find any game you want and you'll see this happening at least 20-30 times. Pretty much any time there is any battle going on beside the boards.

Nylander is just floating out there and seem completely disinterested. Worse than that is our neutral zone coverage, the gap control is out of whack and I could easily see a couple of Russian goals being scored in the middle because of all that ice they are being given. At least Sweden are carrying the play so maybe not to worry, yet.

Yeah I guess it just depends how you define injured, which is why the refs likely are given some time to confer and see how the player is. Injured to them might mean not able to continue playing the game after the hit.

Absolutely. Russia had more real scoring chances but Sweden controlled the puck for the most part until the last five minutes of the period.

What he is doing is fine.

The entire Sweden team looked bad that period.

What he done in past games was great then, now, it doesn't mean squat.

It's not the first time he does this. In such an important game there is no room for such sloppy plays, right now he doesn't play good. He and the rest of Sweden needs to be better.
