But they don't...because they usually absorb the hit. I mean find any game you want and you'll see this happening at least 20-30 times. Pretty much any time there is any battle going on beside the boards.
I agree with 2 minutes. But it was nothing malicious.
Pretty sure the game misconduct is automatic, with a 5 min hit from behind penalty
It's only an auto game if the player is injured I believe.
Nylander is just floating out there and seem completely disinterested. Worse than that is our neutral zone coverage, the gap control is out of whack and I could easily see a couple of Russian goals being scored in the middle because of all that ice they are being given. At least Sweden are carrying the play so maybe not to worry, yet.
Really, that's how u saw it ?????
He definitely appeared injured on the play.

He's set up plenty of PP goals.
What he is doing is fine.
The entire Sweden team looked bad that period.
Well guys the hit was not so awful, 2 + 10 is max.
Tight game but Russia's period overall.
Text book boarding - a bit dirty - but 2min was right in my book.
I see Nylander is born in Calgary :| dose that mean he could have chosed to play for Team Canada this tournament?
Damn, MÃ¥rts(Coach of the mens national team) taking shots at the WJC team.

Wouldn't make our roster TBH.
This game just has that feeling of intensity to it, could be a classic if the play opens up a bit here.
