Well congrats to Russia.

I don't know what it is but we just cannot beat Russia in this tournament. Incredibly frustrating. I could understand if this was the old Soviet Union but as is, blah.

Russia did a great job of slowing the game down and using their size and strength. Very little space for the USA players. They did a great job on Matthews who had an overall phenomenal tournament.

Samsonov is very good. He should have been the goalie the whole time for Russia. That line of guys who play for Yaroslavl in the KHL is phenomenal. I had never heard of any of them before the tournament but their play in a tough league seems to have made a big impact in this tournament.

Best of luck to Russia in the Gold Medal game.

Things are pretty Simple -guys from KHL are developed better than any other junior league players. I hope young north americans realizes it and coming in KHL to compete mature men

Oh believe me I know. I probably should have worded that differently. I believe it was 2011 that they made that tremendous comeback in the gold medal game. They never give up...gotta love that.

I wish our main team played like that , I swear to God. Bragin's just a God for junior teams. Our main teams seem to be filled with individualists and lacks team play, but Bragin's teams are well-oiled machines, always playing as a TEAM. Bragin - awesome!

Which hotel are the USA players staying in? I hope the furniture is nailed down!

Hey Wilson, maybe scouting the other team and learning a little about them will help you win next time. It's one thing to be ignorant, but to be as willfully and proudly ignorant as Wilson portrays himself as in interviews is pathetic.

Exactly what i was thinking!

That 2nd goal was all on Werenski. Just a very poor defensive effort to allow the forward to skate right by him and to the net.

So ignorant he just kept playing that top line till they couldn't skate anymore.

he left them on for all 4 minutes of power-play time back to back.

These are 18 year olds not 28 year olds.

I don't think Wilson actually meant that, it was just trolling imo. Though quite silly, I'll admit.

Russia was clearly the better team: it's always scary when they play disciplined team defence - the individual skill and speed will always be there but without coherent team play they don't count for that much in the end. This is one scary Russian team this year.
