This loss is completely on Ron Wilson

He kept double shifting players & it resulted in the second goal when his players were absolutely gassed.

Some of it is on Wilson. But the majority goes to Russia simply playing the better game.

Wilson killed our top guys by constantly playing them and Russia as any good team would, took advantage of it.

Well congrats to Russia.

I don't know what it is but we just cannot beat Russia in this tournament. Incredibly frustrating. I could understand if this was the old Soviet Union but as is, blah.

Russia did a great job of slowing the game down and using their size and strength. Very little space for the USA players. They did a great job on Matthews who had an overall phenomenal tournament.

Samsonov is very good. He should have been the goalie the whole time for Russia. That line of guys who play for Yaroslavl in the KHL is phenomenal. I had never heard of any of them before the tournament but their play in a tough league seems to have made a big impact in this tournament.

Best of luck to Russia in the Gold Medal game.
