Yea he has only has himself to blame for not telling his D partner to stay on the ice instead of going for a foolish line change. Shame on you sandin!
Excuse me what? 3-on-3 OT is playing man to man defense. He had a perfectly normal 1 on 1 situation and just got beat. No one to blame but himself there.

Being shorthanded so much takes a toll on the energy and lost their best player after 4 minutes. They were gassed.

This is true, although the 3rd period wasn’t quite as bad in the PK department.

Not saying Sweden wasn’t challenged, but I think Russia was the better team over the balance of the game.

You can’t say Sweden didn’t have their chances to win the game.

Romanov and Hoglander not in the top 3 awards is laughable.

At least the hog one is obviously because the coachs are pissed.

no excuse for roma

Think the better team won at the end. Trash goaltending by Askarov kept the Swedes in this. Sandin had a terrific game. That last play was a tough one.

Russia has a great team.

Russia was the better team yes. But Sweden did let it some crappy goals too..

The Bragin Balls team strikes again.

coming from behind in the third to win the game.

Great job, boys!

good game by team Sweden as well, they played hard, we were just a bit luckier in OT

Sweden had the puck in overtime, but didn't shoot the puck, they have no one to blame but themselves.

Exactly my feelings.

People can blame the refs if they like, but there were some mental lapses they need to be hold themselves accountable for.

Wow, what is it with Team Sweden?

Juggernaut in the group stage, but time after time they fall short in the knockout rounds. :dunno: :help:

Congrats, Russia!

Team Finland head coach (men's not juniors) Jukka Jalonen said a week ago that Sweden's system in both men's and juniors gives the opponent too high of a chance of winning.
