Just a dominant performance.

the forecheck, the backcheck, the puck management, the puck movement, the cycle, the d zone coverage, the board battles, the coaching, the face offs, the power play, the pk and even the coaches challenge were all excellent tonight.

can’t fault Russia but they were not to caliber tonight.

Russia was just outclassed by a better hockey team, this team has been outstanding as we’ve gone on in the tournament.

One more game to go. Need to stay focused here.

It's just one of those years where it seems like it all comes together. Certainly goes in cycles for these types of tournaments.

I am liking their chances from what I have seen to date but I am sure US/Finland will be hungry for gold as well.

All in all, just happy to be watching hockey again!

It's also one of those years where all kinds of external factors couldn't help but have an impact on the outcome.

When Germany is playing with 13 skaters, it makes you wonder how much stuff is going on behind the scenes that we're not privy too.

That being said, Canada can only play the opponents that are put in front of them and they have played exceedingly well.

Levi was so important tonight. Yes Canada was the better team across the board. But we've seen it before in this tournament how a couple goals can get through and the momentum can shift radically. Levi was near perfect and there was no space for that momentum to shift.

Just a very impressive showing. Can't even blame the russians for playing bad. With a few lucky bounces this could have been a 5-2 game but that's pretty much it. I'd like a more competitive finals and hope you meet the US there and that they put up a really good fight.

Thought they were both just ok for them. Drysdale had a few gaffes defensively and Byram wasn't as dangerous offensively.
Drysdale had gaffes because he was playing more offensive hockey tonight. Guess what people it happens when you play aggressive offensive hockey from the back end.Byram stayed back and was more conservative and he made less mistakes and didn’t look as good on the offensive side of the puck.

it's really lovely that we all got each other's back in here until the north division starts in 10 days and we go back to f***ing hating each other
With some posters, it's good to know I am getting a jump on things.
