Give it like a week after the tournament will probably start up again.Remember when Lafrenière was not that good because the Q is a weak league? Good times.
Canada v Russia is also special no matter what.
Our most respected and honoured adversary.
There is a reason why Bragin and Russia always bring their U-20 lads to play ours before the tournament on the CHL v Russia Super Series.
It is out of respect and acknowledgement to Russia as our greatest hockey adversary and friend in the best game in the world.
Not a compliment because that's the way it always should beFinns getting soundly beaten and not a single dirty elbow thrown. Other nations should take note.
I remember some Finnish player said that the team didn't have enough confidence after the first game against Sweden. Sure Finland were not ready at that game but it does tell something about the coach. Helminen is probably not the best guy to create the feeling of believing on your doing. I have not got that feeling either from his interviews.
We don't want to hurt anyone. That is just unprofessional and stupid. These guys have mostly played against men anyway.Finns getting soundly beaten and not a single dirty elbow thrown. Other nations should take note.
Well, we are without our two best centers in Kupari and Lundell. The skill difference does exist nevertheless.
The main things in this game though was not being prepared, which is partly on the coach, and Annunen ****ting the bed. The goal tending difference today has been a gaping chasm.
Well, aren't you sweet. I hope it's not just the holiday high.

They were big losses to be sure.
Hofer needs some icepacks on his chest after this game, the logo must have worn off a bit already.Shot quality also, you don't see Canadians shooting half baked muffins like we do all the time. Their boys can shoot the puck.
Everyone outside of Laine. I can't believe how the shot is taught over the little pond so differently that it's always a HARD shotShot quality also, you don't see Canadians shooting half baked muffins like we do all the time. Their boys can shoot the puck.
Calm before the storm.
An old saying we have in Western Canadian hockey is “by respecting our opponents before war, we respect ourselves”.
It was our captain, Thomson. Just ridiculous.I remember some Finnish player said that the team didn't have enough confidence after the first game against Sweden. Sure Finland were not ready at that game but it does tell something about the coach. Helminen is probably not the best guy to create the feeling of believing on your doing. I have not got that feeling either from his interviews.
Sooo then you're saying:Remember when Lafrenière was not that good because the Q is a weak league? Good times.
Love Lafranere, love Russian honesty and he's correct. This is a very good Russian team.Lol gotta love the pump.
They actually looked too overconfident. No one was willing to give the puck away and they thought Sweden won't steal it.
