We looked outmatched vs a depleted Boston line up but we rode Koochie with a side of Jarvos to victory.Missed this one, how was this one? I see Geekie got both GA

I wouldn't say outmatched. But absolutely out of sync. We had multiple trips into the O zone with prolonged possession that Boston could stop, but than ultimately we would over pass and lose the puck.We looked outmatched vs a depleted Boston line up but we rode Koochie with a side of Jarvos to victory.
Aho reached out to hiim at some point but the Canes were never given permission by the Avs to discuss things with him.Come on now. The trade was in the works for months and the Canes even talked to MR before the trade. He hasn’t played lights out but simply if he finishes some more chances and Canes aren’t playing like garbage you aren’t saying that comment. No way you can say it wasn’t well researched and Necas is way outside his lane with that comment.
You can criticize the trade and player on a number of levels but I think dismissing the homework behind it is unfounded.
One of the primary reporters (Freidman, Dreger, etc) reported otherwise in the last week (it was on some podcast - I’m losing track at this point). Canes were given permission to reach out and gauge ballpark figures before the trade. It wasn’t reported at the time of the trade.Aho reached out to hiim at some point but the Canes were never given permission by the Avs to discuss things with him.
Hmm, so either poor assumption that numbers meant interest or perhaps some light fibbing on the behalf of the player/agent.One of the primary reporters (Freidman, Dreger, etc) reported otherwise in the last week (it was on some podcast - I’m losing track at this point). I realize that doesn’t mean much without a link but I doubt I could find it at this point with all the MR noise out there.
also, I had no clue Patrick Brown was still in the league. $5M in career earnings, not bad for an undrafted player. good for him.
