I feel like the last 2 years, the Bills' D has the habit of allowing a 1st drive TD before tightening up.

Nope! We give up some scripted drives like most teams, but I don’t see this raiders offense scoring a bunch…but I’m wrong a lot

On plays like that, the center very often snaps the ball immediately, so it can take the O-line a half second to catch on.
