It really has.Aside from the pats game, the defense has been playing admirably all season since the injury wave hit. Time for the offense to repay the favor

Dane has had his best game of the year.Aside from the pats game, the defense has been playing admirably all season since the injury wave hit. Time for the offense to repay the favor
Dorsey may or may not be in over his head. But I think the problem starts above him.
CEO is more of a figure head in most orgs. I am fine having a core group of ST players and McD can say they need to not cost a ton and be able to play in a pinch but ultimately the ST cord determines who goes out there and gets reps.McDermott is the ceo of the team and has spoken extensively about his desire to have a core special teams unit. The ST coordinator does not have the authority to make them overpay for scrubs.

It's harder to make that case when all the numbers in aggregate show the Bills offense has still been pretty damn good. Points per game are still strong. Matt Canada is very much a different situation.
Dorsey is merely underachieving, not in the "worst OC in the league" conversation.
Why did Daboll leave? McDermott wanted more control and Daboll wanted nothing to do with itIf it were McDermott, then why didn't Daboll's offense have all of the same issues?
It's because they let all the "Allen is going to hurt himself!" talk get to their heads. They've self-neutered themselves thinking they're doing themselves a favor.I can’t believe he saw what they did in 2020 and decided, “No, I’d prefer if my offense didn’t look anything like this”
Well yeah. And I have absolutely no issue with their performance on the field. Their ST unit is fine. It’s the fact that we’re paying legitimate money for those guys, that’s the issue.CEO is more of a figure head in most orgs. Its the lack of creativity that bothers me with DorseyIf it were McDermott, then why didn't Daboll's offense have all of the same issues?
No, because he got a head coaching job.Why did Daboll leave? McDermott wanted more control and Daboll wanted nothing to do with it
Why did Daboll leave?
….because he was offered a head coaching job??Why did Daboll leave? McDermott wanted more control and Daboll wanted nothing to do with it
I was more alluding he was gone regardless if he got that job. It was public knowledge. No, because he got a head coaching job.
JFC.
Sure.I was more alluding he was gone regardless if he got that job. It was public knowledge.
I’m not excluding Dorsey sucking as well.Only thing I can think of is saying Josh doesn't get dialed up runs. If Sean really is saying, "we need to dial up long developing routes and expose our offense line" then he needs to go yesterday. He also publicly talks about a balanced game but Dorsey rarely calls one.
I don't think the unit is fine, I'd like to look at Sal's charts but it always feels like when we field a punt it's always instant pressure or when we punt a guy is rarely thereWell yeah.
