He stayed on the bench. When the period ended he skated to the locker room but did not look comfortable. Those are usually stingers, so hopefully that's all it was.

Becoming a more complete 60 minute team is important. A win is a win but being a young team and coming out slow is not a gold thing.


It's only 20 minutes. I've seen too many season opening games over the years to not hit the panic button after 1 game. You think Vancouver is going to make a run because they owned the Oilers 8 to 1 last night?
