If he ends up a #2C that is still a great deal. Don't really see how it could be "bad".

Fine risk but as a guy who doesn't really create much it could end up mediocre to bad.

GMs are loving the potential of the cap skyrocketing over the next 4-5 years. Even if these kids don't pan out, $7M in 7 years is no big deal. If they do, they've got steals on their hands.

Beniers as a 70-80 point center at a $110M cap would be insane.

Locks in enough money for life. Seattle may have a bargain up there hands. With it being at 7 million. If he gets 60 points a year it's okay deal.

This is going to look good if overall the Kraken are the 2022/3 team and not the 2023/4 team.

2022/3 they had 6 guys score 20+ and another who would have with a full season.

2023/4 they had 2 and one of those scored dead on 20.

His drop off in points and his +/- is no coincidence with how bad the Kraken goalscoring was.

Probably a good deal with the rising cap but you would've liked to see a bit more production last year to justify this type of contract.

Excellent deal, especially with the cap rising. Super young player still locked in at an extremely reasonable rate till he's UFA? Yeah, that's gucci.
