He’s Dutch and they have the reputation of being blunt. That might have been part of it.

There’s an Austrian League. He could join one of his former teammates.

He put up 46pts in 66 games two seasons ago and 43pts in 76 games last season. Only 5 in 19 this season.

Haven’t watched him much recently but on the Caps I really wanted him to turn out, especially with that shot.

However, he was likely the worst defensive player I have ever seen. It wasn’t even the effort at times, he would just make so many mistakes.

he literally just hung out at center ice
the opposing team had offensive zone possession, and he wouldnt enter the defensive zone
and he was just posted up waiting for his team to retrieve the puck and give him a stretch pass
