Chytil is still a kid only 20. I still think he will be a good player for us when he full develops. Buchnevich is a player we are still waiting for yo blossom. He is 25 now and still hasn’t shown a lot despite playing on the top line. I like the kid but needs to show more

Buchnevich has shown plenty. Would have reached at least 50 points this year if not for the pause.

A 25 year old with skill, capable of scoring 50 points and plays with an edge. That's a home run 3rd round pick and then some

There are guys you can try to nab who haven’t broken out yet. Crouse in Arizona. Greenway in Minnesota.

You can see how a guy like even Martinook on Carolina can play that grinding style. They don’t need to be top-6 power forwards

It was pretty unbelievable with that stick business. I've been playing and/or watching hockey for almost 50 years now and I've never seen anything as egregious as that. I don't know which one of Gauthier, McKegg or DiGiuseppe to blame on that but they all f***ed up and Gauthier gets to sit. Makes sense in that the other two are more the grinders and more experienced and two way.
