Hey guys - any watch parties for tonight or good spots to watch that will have a lot of fans? Primarily a Rangers fan but live in Dallas and go to a lot of Stars games. Was hoping to throw my Otter jersey on and go watch with a good crowd. Can be in Dallas or up toward Addison, McKinney, Plano, etc.

Playoff wise he is one of the worst and it’s not just one series of statistics any longer. This has been a common trend in his playoff career. Knowing the stars though he’s going to have his best series yet.

Skinner gets downplayed quite a bit due to Edmontons very inconsistent defence. The guy is a bette goalie than most will admit to

I don't think the Stars are game planning the series on Skinner being crap, they're going to give him the respect he's due, even if viewers won't.

Doesn't look like there's anything official for tonight. Can't imagine you'd be alone as a Stars' supporter at most every bar in the city, though, especially those nearby one of the local rinks.

Fun stat observation for the day, the Stars were the least penalized team in the league this year in total PIMs and were fifth lowest in minor penalties taken. In the playoffs, they’ve given opponents only 1.93 PPs per game, lowest of all playoff teams (the Kings and Caps gave up 4/game).

The most power plays the Stars have given up in a playoff game so far is three.

Despite EDM only getting the one PP last game, their fans don't seem to think it was poorly reffed.

One EDM fan I know was trying to raise some shit about it but he couldn't come up with a single obvious missed call against Dallas.

We're just a really clean team that knows how to avoid penalties.

I honestly think the series against the Wild last season changed things. There were a couple of games where the Stars got suckered into Evason’s stupidity and started taking stupid frustration penalties, but once they learned to ignore the Wild goons, the series was over.

Gretzky is such a homer and getting annoying to listen to. He just said Mcdavid is so big and Johnston can’t handle him. They are the exact same size. Almost same weight.
