Wow, that is so cool. Hope Timonen is able to make his comeback succesfully.

And now I'm sad that Hartnell was traded from the Flyers, because I never realised that this is the first season in Hartnell's career that he is playing on a team without Kimmo Timonen. Can you believe it, out of Hartsy's 1000 regular season games 953 have been on the same team with Kimmo. That is 13 seasons all in all. I had no idea they both left Nashville to Philly at the same time.

Does anyone have any idea on what the NHL record of games/seasons is for two players playing on the same team (on two or more different teams)? The most astonishing thing to me is that Hartsy and Kimmo played together on the same team quite equally since they had 6 seasons together in NSH and 7 seasons together in Philly.

Anyway, sorry, I got carried away.

Congrats Scott, you da man!

My guess is it is Gordie Howe and Alex Delvecchio, think they would have logged around 1400 regular season games and 100 post-season games as teammates from 1950-51 to 1970-71 in Detroit. Don't know it for sure but it is a pretty good bet in terms of that question.

Congrats to Hartnell, has probably fallen 5,000 times as well. Highly entertaining player, gold in interviews and a player almost everyone would like representing their favorite team and city.
