This guy has spent such a massive amount of his life playing hockey... how has that much time on skates not made him at least decent and keeping his balance...
Good for Hartnell, I find this really surprising since he's still relatively young. Speaks to his durability considering he plays a bit of a rough and tumble game.
Saw this mentioned on twitter a little earlier and couldn't believe it. Considering the style he plays and his age right now I didn't think he'd be anywhere close. Congrats to him. One of the best personalities in the game.
Excited to see positive things in here so far Good for Hartnell, it does feel like he's been around forever. Great to see a guy with his style of play keeping it up. Cheers
If not for the lockout, Hartnell would have gotten there at 31 and Patrick Marleau at 30. (Dale Hawerchuk got to 1,000 games at 30, and Vincent Damphousse at 31). The real odd thing is when you realize that Hartnell is only 32.
It's crazy how well liked he is. Usually guys like him are hated by everyone but his own fan base. It just shows what a great guy he is off the ice. He doesn't take himself too seriously (#hartnellDown) and really just seems to enjoy every game. I wish more guys were like him and understand how lucky they are to be a professional hockey players. Congrats Hartsy.
