The kings need natural wingers who are pure goal scores. They already have an insane amount of centers who are shifting to wing in the minors

We are not interested in a lateral coke for pepsi at best
and are not open to 2 lesser pieces for him.

Sometimes you need depth and you go quantity, other times you don't b'c you need best possible pieces. Teams that are in dif places at dif times have dif needs at a given time,

NY has Zib who fits OP and adds pivot depth to boot.
Lack of term and annual new salary can be an issue
but

if Zib told honestly we can't afford what you deserve, let's do 4-5 yrs at 10.5 but no nmc and limited trade protection, NY can then

flip w/1.5 retention to SEA = 9
who can then flip to LA = 8 per

Now, for all that, Zib decent term w/retention,

SEA has to get Kaliev + 2 other prospects + 2 1st round picks from LA
SEA has to get Strome, Reunanen, Georgiev and NYR 1st from Rangers
and
NY has to get Villardi + Beniers


NY can look at Villardi + Miller + ___________ for Sanderson

something like that

while this is not instant gratification w/Beniers and Sanderson having immediate commitments, it does diffuse certain log jams and helps w/long term cap mgmt

Maybe i should be more specific.
Kaliev is not to be overlooked or traded away orsomething. I consider him a huge part of our future success.
My approach to all that is that we field 30+ goal scoring wingers on the 1st and 2nd line.
Kaliev and Fagemo look very promising to do exactly that and Simontaival is red hot right now.
I also see something special in Aatu Jamsen despite not many people don't even know who he is.
If we can add 2 more 30 goal scoring wingers we will be golden.
This would give us the chance to field even 3 high scoring lines

Something like

Kaliev - Byfield - ???
Fagemo - Vilardi - ???
Jamsen - Turcotte - Simontaval
Lee - Helenius - Kempe

High end prospects available for trade would be in this case
Kupari, Madden, Pinelli, Thomas, Chromiak. Each of them would be top 3 prospect on every other team

Sorry but none of those guys would be top-3 prospects on the majority of teams right now.

And I like a few of those guys too lol.

I agree with K Zib is a good player that could go

So unless a turnaround in head count otherwise, I will consider Zib to LA a nonstarter.

Add another no, good player just don’t fit what LA should be doing and doesn’t fill any of the possible holes that would be better to address with any outgoing talent.

You can chose from the 24+ age group and you chose Kaliev, other prospects and 2 1st rounders.

I am also not sure how an old center counts as a young winger.

He has a knack for scoring goals with limited ice time. Plus, he shouldn't cost much and could produce if given the opportunity.

Bertuzzi plays a little bit to much energy and little bit to less polish.
I see him more of a workhorse than a polished scorer.
He is still an interesting player despite lacking pure goal scoring

Maybe someone like Akil Thomas or Tyler Madden?

Although I think the time for LA to grab a winger is likely next offseason. If the right deal was there I would do it.

Laine, Meier and Forsberg might be available but its going to be high price. I would just give Kaliyev playing time. It seems he is going to be destined to score goals in NHL.
