About that, am I paranoid to be a bit concerned about their preparation for the new season when seeing all these partying vids and photos? I mean, they've absolutely earned it and they're professional athletes, surely they know when it’s time to train again, right?

oh theres gonna be a rough start/periods where they dont play to save themselves for the playoffs

But at least we have something to show for the wear and tear of 2 cup runs

And theres gonna be the inevitable time where this style of hockey just becomes unbearable to keep doin over and over for the players

I came across this Finnish (YLE) article by chance while looking for something else.

It’s in Finnish but lists a number of Barky firsts
- youngest ever Finn in U20 WC (16yo)
- second youngest ever scorer in U20
- youngest ever player in SM-liiga
- youngest ever G and A in SM-liiga
- earliest Finnish pick in NHL (jointly)
- youngest since NHL 1967 expansion to score

He also says to kids should “play a lot on backyard ice and do a lot of individual training”.

Still does not get old. Whether its Lindsay just going ape shit, to the game being called in languages I do not speak, we are Stanley Cup CHAMPIONS!!!

I have downloaded the Sportsnet broadcast of Game 7, so I will always have it on file to play again.

And I still cry when I watch the end, and hear "The Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup Champions," or "The Florida Panthers have won the Stanley Cup!" BOTH sound equally f'ng amazing!!!

Went to the HHOF today hoping to see the Panthers engraved on the Cup but was disappointed it wasn't done yet to the one on display. Guess they're waiting for the 'real' one to put on display to engrave the backup one. That kind of sucked.

Did see a bunch of Panther fans though and took some close ups of the display. Here's Barkov's glove and Tkachuk's mouthguard.
