True we should have jumped on the bandwagon sooner like @FinlandPanther. He was the only one right about himWe already love Maurice without the Cups
Defended him from Day 1 and it would be awesome to see him finally win the Cup. He deserves so so much credit for how this team plays and where we are today. If paul maurice winns the cup what is the feeling of him as a coach ? I always liked him . Hopefully Florida winns it all now
Yup. Never doubted him once.True we should have jumped on the bandwagon sooner like @FinlandPanther. He was the only one right about him
I'm torn between who I'd want to face. Not in terms of which team would be easier, no preference there, but which would be more fun.
Edmonton, we get to take on 'the best player in the world' and the Canadian media. Would generate lots of stories and the travel aspect actually intrigues me.
Dallas, there's Deboer who's got his history with us and is good friends with Maurice, we get to face Marchment, and we'll be playing them in Finland next year.
I'm leaning towards Edmonton because it may be the most interesting, but don't take care that much.
The Stars would be the better team but in order to keep alive the storyline of the Panthers being a group of fraudulent scumbags who haven't scored a single legit goal in these playoffs would be more feasible with the Oilers.
Not sure the Canadien team would not have a gigantic emotional edge. But Dallas concerns me being as more physical.I'm torn between who I'd want to face. Not in terms of which team would be easier, no preference there, but which would be more fun.

Agreed. Last year it felt like an epic battle and that we had (literally, with all the injuries) limped over the line, even with the trashing of Carolina. This year feels like we have a lot left. It's time. I didn't feel this last time. I think this is it.
Reading other boards, in general Canadian team fans hate Edmonton way more than us. They also call the Edmonton fans total trash. If you don't already, you are really going to hate Edmonton fans within about three seconds of the matchup being announced.
