At 2-9 we all would have taken this. "You're down 2-1 going into the 3rd period of game 7 of the f***ing SCF". And I know every player would have taken that, too.

We're 1 shot away. And then gonna score on the next shift.

Win today, walk together forever. Have some f***ing faith. This team plays best when they are backs against the f***ing wall.
Then they need to start that third period like period one of game 6. They can’t come out flat like they have the last 2 periods. They have to play the 3rd like they give a shit and that they believe they can win. Tonight they are playing like they are okay with the loss.

Ah. Drai even helped that goal against. Reinhart was probably gonna hit Skinner in the crest. By a mile the saddest series Drai has ever played. Very interested in the injuries he's been dealing with.
How was Drai at fault in that sequence when he had a great rush preceding that and his wingers gave up puck?

Gonna start thread banning the "game is over" doomers.

Go to the main board if you want to cheer for a loss.
Fans are emotional. Still got 20 minutes to pull this off. Might be more dangerous leading into the third than trailing. The losing team decides to wake up and take over.

Need to let McDrai go x game mode before the ice gets bad again. Put them out every second shift for the first half of the period.

You see the puck, its an obvious shot, and Stu is rattled and low in his crouch. His don't even move freeze. Shaky AF in that period and was spilling even dumps in front of crease. Hasn't been good. Would still be 1-1 if Skinner has that one.

Somehow I knew you'd have a comment

Fcuk I knew I shouldn't have even started posting again.

Have fun the rest of you - enjoy the third. I'm cheering hard!

Great post but two more F bombs would be perfect.

The Oil will get this done.

Coming up is the best period of hockey you'll witness in your lifetime.

I’d like to but McDavid and Draisaitl look like complete non factors.

If Bouchard is the player you claim he'll play a major role in the Oilers victory.

The biggest stage and the top 6 crumbles, that's what's so god damn frustrating and why people are venting. There's still 20 minutes but it's not encouraging watching the complete dearth of compete and care by them in particular. This team still lives and dies by what those guys do, and they haven't been good enough, period.

You play the whole season to get a chance like this, Oilers need to grab it, not meekly pass their way into the offseason.

No they are not.

Have you watched a game 7 before?

They are all like this. Two teams grinding the f*** out of each other and some shitty shot goes in for the win.

Florida isnt dominating.

97 in OT.

He, like McLeod who's a similar player, completely disappear under the slightest amount of pressure. Is what it is and we've all known about that.

Kulak has impressed me all year but Kulak giving that guy the entire rink to work with is mind boggling. Ceci did the same a shift earlier on the other side of the ice. What the f*** is going through these guys heads?
Mcleod continues to demonstrate what a soft, sweetheart game he plays. Has no place in the playoffs but here we f***ing are with cupcakes like this instead of people who want to go to war.
