Let's realize that Johnson only played so much because Girard got hurt. Then crush the NHL's most famous pairing of McDavid and Draisaitl. Then they had to overcome Kuemper and legalized interference by Tampa. Absolutely deserves this Cup win.
I forgot having to deal with Emily Kaplan's interviews on a nightly basis. Absolutely deserved the Cup.

Byram isn't even any good

Center is the only position lol

Josi is amazing at getting the puck in the offensive zone but Makar does more IMO but right now the top flight defenceman in the league are unreal. One thing I will say about Josi is faster tighter checking teams could contain him pretty easy from what I saw. Mind you I've only seen them both limited amounts but without stats and just watching the games Makar is an easy choice for me over Josi . Some of Foxy's best games left my head spinning too. Some great defenceman in the NHL right now.
they can contain him because he's like the only offensive threat on that team , aside from maybe Forsberg.

And besides its pretty much a fact that a couple of Makar throaters left him off their Norris ballots completely or at least out of their top 3 which handed Makar the Norris even though Josi had more 1st place votes.

Makar's great but Josi deserved the award this year. He was truly amazing. Nashville is a mid ass team and he almost put up 100 .

All their top forwards are savages in addition to being highly skilled. MacKinnon, Landeskog, Raantanen and Kadri are all willing to fight through defenses just as much as go around them. We have like maybe 1/2 a forward like that in Kreider and hopefully some up and comers if all goes well. The Avs would have demolished us.
oh yeah, i saw some casuals on reddit sad that Tampa beat us bc we could have put up a better fight? Kuemper would have won the Conn Smythe if they had faced us , saving 30/30 shots total in 4 games. We would have never sniffed the puck. If we do make a run to the finals i really pray we get one of those cupcake matchups like Tampa got.

Byram isn't long for the NHL, IMO. His biggest problem is he is constantly removing himself from puck battles which creating bad turnovers. He shies away from contact when he's skating back into his end when the puck is in the corners & with good reason because he's trying to protect himself from more head trauma.

Feel bad for the kid, but one more bad hit & he could be done for good.

Makar might be an easier choice than Jose if you're starting a team, but that's not the description of the award. Josi was the best defenseman in the NHL this season & it wasn't close, IMO. He also should've been a Hart finalist.
Josi obviously had a great year but the games I watched him play , we has amazing vs. weak teams and not as much against strong teams. I judge more by what I see and I only go to stats to see if they confirm what i am seeing but here is something I think is telling. In every single playoff year but one Josi has a negative plus minus. So that's against better teams and he is a minus 28 in the playoffs.

I'd like to have the time to see who he put up those points against and like I said I only saw a smallsample of games but I saw 2 different Josi's and look I admit that could be just a coincidence of samples but regardless he still had a great year.

Again you're rattling off numbers that have nothing to do with this years' Norris Trophy.

I watch a LOT of hockey & Nashville in particular because I had 4 of their players on my fantasy team. Josi from mid January til the end of April was other worldly on a very average team. He basically willed them into a playoff spot.

Sore loser. It looked like he was throwing his gloves and elbow pads in anger that the icing got waived despite their being 20 plus seconds left. Maybe I’m wrong? But looked like equipment not broken stick.
Totally....my WTF was for him being a selfish bastard & a sore loser.

His stick broke and it looks like he was letting somebody have it over the stick breaking or a new stick not being ready
Just looked like he quit in frustration honestly. Sore loser....not that I wouldn't be also.

Like I said to Kirk I am only going by the small sample I saw so I may be wrong.

I looked at the game splits and they don't seem to back me up . I guess my small sample was more of a coincidence.
